The MEKO is a sliding gate operator produced by PROTECO, an Italian mechanical company that has been producing motors for over 40 years.

It is available in two versions:

- 230V for residential use and up to 10 users

- 24V for commercial or condominium use

Both versions have a very low average annual consumption on the bill: ranging from €8-15 for the 230V motor to €15-30 for the condominium engine.

They are also equipped with a control unit with display, which simplifies initial programming and helps with diagnostics later. Very interesting is the fact that, by intervening exclusively on the programming (and not on the wiring), it is possible both to exclude the safety devices and to decide whether to install the motor on the right or left.

The plant is also protected against the access of animals, such as lizards or snails. It is in fact closed in a box and a plastic rubber in the cable passage space makes it even more difficult for animals or dirt to enter.
