This document regulates the conditions of sale between the SEGEMA snc (hereinafter referred to as the Shop) and the natural or legal person who purchases the goods (hereinafter referred to as the Buyer).
The company SEGEMA snc has its registered office in Rome, Via San Giovanni in Argentella, 51 00131 ROME - PI and CF 10773171003 and the operational offices are in Via Quarto Sant'Antonio 48 - 00047 Loc. Frattocchie, in Marino in the province of Rome, an address also used for correspondence.

2.0 Sales model
Our Store sells online exclusively through its own website shopsegema.it.


No other websites or addresses not mentioned above are related to our business.

Anyone can register and become a Buyer, but we reserve the right to remove the registrations of customers who do not comply with the conditions of sale or behave in such a way as to represent a danger to the Store or other Buyers. The removal may be permanent or transitory at our sole discretion and without notice from us.

Sales are also allowed on our website without registration. Users who choose this method of purchase will always benefit from the same rights as a registered customer, but will not have access to the reserved part that allows you to manage personal data, check orders and track shipments and make returns.

We would like to point out that the complaint should always be sent to us first, in order to provide us with the opportunity to quickly resolve the Buyer's problem. The possibility of submitting a complaint through the platform should be a last resort, when the customer believes that he has been wronged and is unable to resolve his problem with our customer service.

3.0 Payments and taxes
There are several payment methods accepted. Some forms may have an additional cost due to fees imposed by our partners. The payment methods accepted in our Store are:

3.1 Application of VAT rate (taxes in the destination countries)

In application of the new European Directive on the application of VAT rates for purchases made in the EU territory, we apply the VAT of the individual member states at the time of purchase.

The price may therefore change once you have entered the shipping details, since the site recalculates the VAT according to the country indicated.

The data will not be communicated to other parties, with the exception of the shipper in charge of delivering the goods, nor will they be disseminated to third parties.

The requested data are necessary, and in the absence of even one of them, it will not be possible to proceed with the supply of the goods or the provision of the service, as we will not be able to fulfill pre-contractual, contractual, regulatory and tax obligations.
The data will be processed using tools suitable for guaranteeing security and confidentiality and may also be carried out through paper and/or automated tools suitable for storing, managing and transmitting the data.
We also inform you that art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, confers on citizens the exercise of specific rights. 5.0 Withdrawal condition
As established by current European regulations, the Buyerhas 14 (calendar) days from receipt of the goods to exercise his right of withdrawal. The delivery date communicated to us by the courier is used as receipt. We would like to point out that this right, expressly enshrined in
European regulations, also establishes that the goods must be returned in the same condition in which they were received. So the packaging must be intact and the goods must be resalable (not worn, dirty or in such a condition as to make it impossible to sell them as a new object). The right of withdrawal provides a way for the customer to have a change of mind after purchasing and does not enter in any way into the discussions about warranty and replacement, which are dealt with in paragraph 6.0.


Packaging, packaging or objects that have been used or are not in their original condition will not be accepted. Before dispatching, the Buyer must wait for the Shop's acceptance of the withdrawal request. The request can be made by email at assistenza@segema.net or by using the online form on the contact page of the site.

Once the authorization has been received, the customer has 14 (calendar) days to send the goods, in this case the date of shipment will be detected by the courier's package marker placed on the boxes.

The shipment must be made through a traceable means. The chosen courier must make the delivery to our offices, we will not collect goods in storage or in collection points affiliated with the courier chosen by you.

Once the item(s) have arrived to us and after checking the condition of the goods, if they meet the standards mentioned above, we will refund the Buyer the full amount of their cost, including the initial shipping costs, within 30 days.
PLEASE NOTE: as established by the European Court of Justice, the costs that the Buyer will incur to return the goods will not be reimbursed.

6.0 Warrantyii

As a general premise to all the warranty conditions explained below, we want to clarify that the warranty always and in any case concerns manufacturing defects, or handling defects prior to sale. Therefore, in general the warranty does not cover damage or tampering caused directly or indirectly by the user or installer as a result of use or assembly. The authorization or not of the replacement/repair under warranty is established by our technical staff, to facilitate this task you may be asked for photographic documentation of the faulty product.

6.1 Finished Products (STANDARD 24 MONTH WARRANTY)
Unless otherwise stated, all products (not spare parts whose warranty conditions are explained in another paragraph) for sale in the Store have a warranty period of 24 months from the time of sale. The time count starts from the date shown on the tax document. The warranty conditions are those established by the producers of the goods themselves. For clarity, the following are some conditions in which the item cannot be replaced under warranty:

    • Tampered with or inadequately stored object

    • Item with ruined casing condition

    • electronic boards clearly exposed to humidity, water, solvents or other agents that can induce even irreversible malfunctions

    • items not accompanied by appropriate documentation proving the purchase at our Store (commercial invoice)

    • objects with damage caused by unqualified personnel

    • Items not used properly

    • Items with depleted batteries


If the Buyer wishes to initiate a warranty replacement procedure, the Purchaser shall use the following method described below:
Contact our warranty service at this address assistenza@segema.net or through the contact form, indicating the name and surname, the date of purchase. At this point, the Store will send you a code to be affixed to the box and the Buyer can send the goods at their own expense which will subsequently be sent back under warranty.

IMPORTANT: Shipments that do not clearly show our authorization number will not be accepted.


WARNING: Shipment of goods by the Buyer or collection of goods by the Store does not indicate that warranty replacement will apply. Only when the goods are available to our technical staff and are checked will we be able to establish whether it is a warranty replacement or not. In the event that the warranty replacement is not accepted, a document will be sent to the Buyer explaining the reasons why the warranty replacement cannot be made and the Buyer can decide whether to have the goods back in the condition in which they sent them or to purchase a new one. Both of these last two options are paid for by the Buyer.

If the product sent is functional, the customer will have to pay the shipping costs for the resending of the goods and a flat rate of control. The total expense amounts to € 20.00, regardless of the price of the product.

6.2 Spare Parts (24 MONTH PARTS WARRANTY)III

Spare parts are all those products (both mechanical and electrical components) that cannot function if not properly inserted into a product and therefore must be considered components of the same.

Spare parts also have their own 24-month sales warranty, but since they are products that cannot function independently and must be assembled together with other components, this assembly must be carried out in a workmanlike manner by competent personnel. In order to be able to authorize or not a warranty on a spare part, our technical staff will need to verify the correct use of the spare part, talking to the person who took care of the repair and use of the product.

No warranty replacement or repair will be authorized if the person who has used the product does not provide adequate explanations to our technical staff.

Special cases in which the warranty will not be considered valid are:

  • Incorrect mechanical assembly of the product (such as to cause extremely fast wear of the same).

  • Wrong electrical connection.

  • Carelessness in the mechanical closure such as to allow water or moisture to penetrate.

  • Use of the wrong and inadequate spare part.

  • Use of the spare part or component for any use other than its creation.

  • Changes made by the user to the operation of the product, if these have not been suggested by the manufacturer.

6.3 Warranty replacement/repair wait times by manufacturer

Our company markets products from different manufacturers and with different warranty times and policies. Below is a generic diagram according to the category and manufacturer on warranty times. It should also be noted that the manufacturer's warranty period is in no way linked to the method of providing the warranty, for which reference must always be made to art. 6.1 and 6.2 of these GTCS. The buyer remains free to contact the manufacturer directly to ask if he can directly take advantage of the warranty from the manufacturer.

We also specify some exceptions to articles 6.1 and 6.2 in line with the indications provided by the producers.

      1. BFT product warranty: establishes a standard 24-month warranty on all finished products, so the warranty conditions in paragraph 6.1 are fully applicable and for spare parts the conditions in paragraph 6.2.

      2. FAAC product warranty : establishes a standard 24-month warranty on all finished products, so the warranty conditions in paragraph 6.1 are fully applicable and for spare parts the conditions in paragraph 6.2.

      3. Product warranty NICE: establishes a warranty term of 24 months, with the particularity that electronic products (cards, control units, receivers and remote controls) must be sent directly to the service center to assess the actual possibility of applying the warranty. This makes any replacement and return of goods slower than the normal procedure.

      4. Product warranty GIBIDI: establishes a standard warranty of 24 months on all finished products, so the warranty conditions in paragraph 6.1 are fully applicable and for spare parts the conditions in paragraph 6.2.

      5. Product warranty PROTECO: establishes a standard warranty of 24 months except for some products for which an extension to 36 months is provided, this indication is present on the photographs of the products on our site. On all finished products, therefore, the warranty conditions in paragraph 6.1 are fully applicable and for spare parts the conditions in paragraph 6.2.

      6. STAFER product warranty: establishes a standard warranty of 24 months on all finished products except for V6 and V6M series tubular motors without on-board electronics, for which a warranty period of 120 months (10 years) is established, therefore the warranty conditions in paragraph 6.1 are fully applicable and for spare parts the conditions in paragraph 6.2.

      7. Product warranty ABEXO: establishes a standard warranty of 24 months on all finished products, so the warranty conditions in paragraph 6.1 are fully applicable and for spare parts the conditions in paragraph 6.2.

      8. Product warranty SEGEMA: establishes a standard warranty of 24 months on all finished products, so the warranty conditions in paragraph 6.1 are fully applicable and for spare parts the conditions in paragraph 6.2.

7.0 Shipping

The most important part of our work is to try to satisfy the visitor of our site by trying to make him become a customer and providing him with the most detailed information possible related to exclusive services that he can only find in our e-store. On the product page and on the cart page there is useful information to better evaluate the purchase. In particular, the following are indicated: the availability of the product and its maximum waiting time from the order (in the event that the product is unavailable).

The availability of our products varies continuously based on the daily purchases that take place on the site, which is why we have different levels of timing (availability is updated every day.

9.0 Shipping Cost
The cost of shipping as specified above varies according to several factors, please enter the gear in the cart and complete the shipping address fields on the checkout page in order to be able to calculate these costs exactly.


It can rarely happen that some area is considered disadvantaged. This is because it is normally located in a geographically difficult place (La Maddalena, Venice lagoon, Campione d'Italia, Procida. Ischia, etc.). In these rare cases, couriers apply surcharges.
