The springs of the road barriers BFT MOOVI, GIOTTO, MICHELANGELO models are all aesthetically similar so it is very important not to choose based only on the photograph but always read the model well on the label inside the body.
This spring can only be used with model barriers:
produced since October 2008. The date of manufacture can be found on the plate inside the body.
Why can't I use this spring on other barriers from the MOOVI, GIOTTO or MICHELANGELO series?
A spring is chosen by the manufacturer based on certain physical characteristics of both strength and elasticity and also strength. Only the manufacturer can indicate the appropriate type of spring, because it has carried out tests to understand how it works. A spring that is too strong will cause the gearmotor to strain downhill, while one that is too weak will cause it to strain uphill.
How do you balance a spring?
Unlock the barrier and put it into manual operation. Bring the rod to 45°. In this position, the pole must remain stationary, it must not be raised or lowered. Act on the spring adjustment to achieve this balance.
