The NICE 's OXIBD radio receiver is a 433.93 MHz receiver for bi-directional radio remote controls of the NICE ON3BD model.

What does bi-directional mean?

This means that not only does the remote control transmit the code to the receiver and the receiver commands the control unit to open, but also the receiver replies that the code has been accepted and confirms to the remote control that the automation has been opened. Logically, this must take place within the radio range of the remote control.

The OXIBD receiver is also able to accept the normal NICE one-way radio controls of the family:

  • FLOR or INTI
  • O-Code
  • Smilo
  • Flo

By then plugging the receiver into OPERA-prepared control panels, the functions are expanded and up to 15 different commands can be used depending on the programming mode.

Like its sister OXI, this receiver also accepts up to 1024 remote controls if programmed in MODE I, less if programmed in MODE II because in this mode each key occupies a memory location.
