SC230E PASS or SL 230V sliding operator control unit

The SC230E is the new control unit of the GIBIDI for PASS sliding operators with encoder. The new generation of operators allows you to avoid the installation of the double limit switch torque and better control over the slowdown, speed and anti-crushing of the PASS operator.

As the PASS is one of the best-selling sliding operators of all time, GIBIDI has decided to make this control panel backwards compatible with the PASS and SL operators at 230V. To do this, the control panel must be programmed in a particular way. In order to facilitate this replacement, inside the package, we at SEGEMA have included a small quick guide to the operations to be carried out to install the new SC230E on old systems. This product can be used as a replacement control unit for the following operators:

• PASS 4
• PASS 6
• PASS 8
• PASS 12
• PASS 16
• PASS 18
  
• PASS 600
• PASS 800
• PASS 1200
• PASS 1800
  
• SL 800

In the very old operators under the control unit there is another card which is that of the limit switches. In the new control panel, the limit switches are on board the control panel, so the limit switch must also be removed. We recommend replacing the plastic stand that comes with the SC230E as well.

WARNING, in some old control panels the position of the motor wires is different from the current one. Always check with the instructions and in any case compare the silk-screen printing of the two control panels before giving power.
