The NO-TOUCH edge is a unique safety device. In fact, it allows you to detect a possible impact of the moving leaf (normally in sliding gates) before it occurs. Normal safety edges only intervene after an object, person or animal has actually impacted them. The NO-TOUCH edge, thanks to the exclusive CAPTIVE technology, is able to detect objects at a distance of about 2 cm without touching them, so the automatic gate will be considerably safer having excluded any accidental contact with its users.

Another advantage of this safety accessory is the fact that the edge communicates with the control panel wirelessly and the receiver can be interfaced to any existing control unit. In fact, the power supply of the receiver can be taken from the photocell power output. The long-lasting battery (about 2 years) can be replaced very easily and quickly and its status is constantly monitored by the system. In cases where constant monitoring is required, the system can perform a full function and status test every 7 seconds.
In order to work, the edge must communicate with its receiver (JCM-1004454) and use the magnet inhibit system (JCM-1004455).
